Day 142: Tone April 15, 2010

1. Poetry 180. All students are encouraged to bring a poem to share with the class. This is optional, so students who read will get a point of extra credit on their poetry test.

2. WordSkills 6.1-6.5. Agog, Anthrop, Arch, Bell, and Brev. This time we used pictures to help memorize the meaning of each word part.

3. Finish talking about “Sonrisas.” We completed the tone chart for this poem, including the syntax.

4. Work on Tone Chart for poem of your choice from HW reading.

HW: Complete the Tone Chart (download here: Tone chart) for one of the poems you read from the textbook (or the internet).
