2. Next, we discussed the project, which we will be working on in class this week: TKAM Podcast Project. 1st period will present their work on Friday. 6th and 7th will present on Tuesday.

3. Groups then shared out their ideas in an attempt to come up with a complete sentence that will serve as something like a thesis for their radio show. The sentence should be two independent clauses linked with a “but.” For instance: The justice system is important because it stands up for minorities, BUT sometimes its failure can lead to even worse situations.

4. Then, we listened to the beginning of a podcast using this graphic organizer: Notes on Example Podcasts. Here are two podcasts to listen to the first six minutes: http://serialpodcast.org/season-one/1/the-alibi or http://www.npr.org/2015/01/16/377517810/world-with-no-fear

HW: Read chapters 25 and 26 for tomorrow! There will be an oral quiz!
